Privacy notice
Plain English, no surprises
Who we are
is run by . Contact: . We are the data controller.
What we collect and why
- Orders. Your name, birth date, UK city, the guidance areas you picked, your question (decision report), your baby’s birth date, time and place and the names you shortlisted (baby report), your email address and your WhatsApp number, if you give one. We use it only to prepare and deliver your personalised guidance report.
- Waitlist. Your first name and email are kept to tell you when ordering opens, based on your consent, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Free profile. Your first name and email address, plus birth date, city and tradition if you choose to give them.
- Anonymous page events. Which button was used and which WhatsApp group link you arrived from. These carry no personal data.
Lawful basis
- The contract with you: preparing the report you ordered.
- Your explicit consent for anything that may reveal religious or cultural belief, for example the tradition you pick or a nakshatra report. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Your consent for the monthly emails. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and counts visits without cookies.
- Neon keeps the database, in the London region.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Ko-fi takes the payment; we never see your card details.
- Slack carries order alerts with no personal data: offer, reference, group and price.
- Google Gemini API helps us draft report wording, on the free tier, and Google may use those prompts to improve its own products. If it cannot help, we fall back to the Kilo AI gateway and then to Anthropic’s Claude. All of them receive only the computed numbers, your question and the shortlisted names; we never send them your name, email address, phone number or birth date, time or place.
- Sentry collects error reports without personal data.
International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the UK. Cloudflare hosts the site and its global network; it is a US company. Neon is a US company and stores the database in the London region (eu-west-2), so your profile and order data stay in the UK. Resend, Slack, Sentry, Google (Gemini), Kilo and Anthropic may process data outside the UK, protected under UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Orders are deleted 90 days after the order.
- Baby birth details are deleted as soon as we deliver the report.
- Your profile is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- We complete requests within 30 days.
On your device
We set no cookies. The page keeps a temporary session-only note (in sessionStorage) of which link you arrived from, which is deleted when you close the tab. In your browser’s localStorage on this device only, we keep:
- Your in-progress reading answers (full name at birth, birth date, birth time, birth town, tradition, and focus) and checkout progress so you can resume where you left off. Checkout progress holds the report details you typed (name, birth date, town, decision question and window) plus contact details and report choice, never baby details; reading answers and the finished reading stay on this device until you press “Start a new reading”, “Clear” on the banner, or “Forget me on this device”.
- If you choose to save a profile, an optional on-device profile that “Forget me on this device” clears.
- The place you choose for festival dates and your device time zone stay on your device and are never sent. When you first open the home page, your browser asks whether this site may use your location. You can say no, and you can also choose your city by hand. If you allow it, your position is used on your device only to find the nearest city, and only that city is kept on your device. We remember on your device that we already asked, so we do not ask again. Your position is never sent to us or stored.
Tradition, branch, language and roots
The tradition, branch, language and roots you give in the free reading stay on this device: they are never sent to our servers or analytics, and we never send your faith, language or roots anywhere. The only exception is the optional tradition in the free profile, sent only if you tick consent.
Place search and credits
Place suggestions are looked up from an offline dataset loaded from this site (Places © GeoNames (CC BY 4.0)). It now covers every country, with towns and cities of 1,000 or more people. If you cannot find your town in the list, you can choose to search online; only the typed town name is sent, only after you tap “Search online”, to OpenStreetMap’s search service (Search by Photon, data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Nothing else leaves your device.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, a correction, deletion, to object, or to withdraw a consent. Email us at . If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
